Hi-hats are crafted using a similar noise-based trick, but with Pandora filtering and resonance to add bite, and a high-pitched sine from Lorelei for extra sizzle. The percussive FM loop is a more complex affair, with Lorelei as the sound source, Ottoli LFO modulating pitch, and Ivo self-oscillating as the FM modulator. The patch is then sent through Beatrix for phasing and Pandora for high-pass filtering, all under the guiding hand of Ottoli’s various outputs.

Bass duties fall to a calibrated Lorelei, with the FH-2’s auto-calibration ensuring tuning accuracy.
